Cheese cake Sunday
Morning Run
9am : time for my 5K run. Bleary eyed I strap my Nike + sports band on trainer up and throw myself out of the front door. First 5K of the week and a chance tow kick start my metabolism. My route starts in Catford , through Ladywell then onto Brockley , Crofton Park then through to Stanstead road back into Catford
Today's run was particularly interesting. My Nike + sportsband had to be sent back to Amsterdam for repairs so today I took my normal route but was relieved from the pressure accompanying running against a clock.
Ran my usual 5.5 K route then entered Ladywell athletics track to complete 3k in bare foot on the athletic track.
Back home now to watch the memorial parades on TV. Brave service men and women before heading down to Bromley.

South Bank 15/11/2014
Down to my favourite Bar for some Sunday chill down. I love heading to the Benuga Bar in the BFI South Bank. This bar is kitted out like your front lounge with comfy couches. It is frequented by art and TV types together with the odd famous face from ITV next door.
However the real reason why I head down here is the devine cheese cake. At £5.59 it is to die for. Delicious. A nice cup of tea and a newspaper : bliss :-)
Today was particularly good. South Bank is participating in the London Jazz festival.

Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red: Tower of London World War I Centenary Commemoration
On July 17 this year a tide of 888,246 ceramic poppies, one for each British and colonial fatality during World War I, began to seep across the dry moat at the Tower of London. The installation that has appeared in the intervening months commemorates the centenary of the Great War. During the conflict, the Tower’s moat was used to swear in the 1,600-plus men who had enlisted by the end of

The USA and Belgium are well represented in the selection of bottles. Look out for exclusive imported beers you won't see anywhere else in London.
